This yarn is handspun by Tibetian refugees living in Nepal. Recycled Silk Yarn from Nepal 100% silk yarn handspun from recycled fibers (remnants, dyelot ends, etc). Wonderful color variety! Colors are spun together completely randomly, no two hanks are exactly alike. Bulky weight knits up great on size US 10 or larger needles. Size 10 US needle: 3 sts per inch 100 gram hanks, approx 80 yds. I also include the free scarf pattern with each order, that uses only one skein of yarn. The purse you see pictured was also made using one skein of yarn. The pattern is available for sale under Campbell Creations and was designed especailly for this yarn.
